Woid
Woid ist niederösterreichisch für Wald – schlicht und ergreifend.
Aber für uns und das Lager ist Woid mehr als nur ein Wort. Als Pfadfinder*innen kommen wir zusammen, spielen und lachen zusammen und sind verbunden mit der Natur. Wir erforschen, wir erschaffen und wir genießen, und wenn wir nach einem spannenden Tag zusammen am Lagerfeuer sitzen besinnen wir uns auf unsere Wurzeln und erinnern uns, dass wir einzeln ein Baum, aber zusammen ein ganzer Wald sein können – das ist für uns das Gefühl des Woids.
Woid is the Lower Austrian dialect word for forest – plain and simple. But for us and our camp, Woid is more than just a word. As scouts, we come together, play and laugh together, and are connected with nature. We explore, we create, and we enjoy, and when we sit together by the campfire after an exciting day, we reflect on our roots and remember that individually we may be a tree, but together we can be a whole forest – that’s the feeling of Woid for us.
And because we love puns, we are using Woid in front of many regular words to express the involvement with our camp!
