During the first four days of the camp, you will primarily spend time in your sub-camp, exploring WoidLa24 and the surrounding areas, forming friendships, and learning new things.
The CaEx & RaRo will spend two days offsite, including an overnight stay. After the shared festival day on Sunday, you will have three days to spend the time individually according to your ideas, traditions, and preferences. All camp activities and the numerous possibilities in the surrounding area (reservoirs, forests, castles, etc.) are available to all camp participants.
Whether you plan a 2-day hike, have a special project or venture in your group, start your own venture or project, take advantage of the many camp options, or simply relax for a day – all of these things will be possible! As part of the overall program, we want to offer you opportunities to try new things, meet other scouts, and design your time at camp according to your vision.
Please check out our Downloads section for more information on offsite activities and hikes/trips.

“Hey you,” you hear whispers from the DüsterWoid. “Come in, come in, dear CaEx, and discover what WoidLa24 has to offer you”.
Together with 900 Woid inhabitants, the DüsterWoid will be your home in the summer of 2024. Our campsite in the Waldviertel region offers quite a few surprises.
We would like to introduce you to a few special features of the CaEx age group:
Workshopday
On the “Workshop Day,” you will have the opportunity to learn new skills, experience adventures, or expand your senses.
WoidTour
During the WoidTour, you will explore the Waldviertel region and, in addition to a hike, have less physically demanding alternatives. Overnight stays outside the campsite are fixed.
Free time in DüsterWoid
There will also be enough free time and entertainment. The DüsterWoid provides many opportunities to spend your off-time. Whether you want to relax in the CaEx-Gastro, enjoy one of the evening events, participate in them, or discover and experience the campsite and try something new with one of the free program options.
Evening Activities
We ensure that there is something for everyone at the evening events. Loud, quiet, fiery, fun, exciting, sociable, spooky, Woid-like, and much more. How you shape your free time is entirely up to you. You can explore the DüsterWoid and its surroundings with new or old friends. The DüsterWoid team is looking forward to spending a fantastic time with you and your group soon.
Rangers & Rovers (16 – 20 years)
